Deadly Tesla Crash- apparently on auto pilot. Two passengers killed as it crashed into a tree. One passenger in back seat, one in passenger seat. thinking high speed. Houston

According to the article no one was in the driver's seat and the car did not have full self driving capability just "autopilot" which is pretty much the same limited level 2 autosteer system we have in our Kona's. This sadly sounds like a suicide or possibly Darwin award winners.
Tesla needs to wake up and start using eye monitoring so people can't game their system. This is a repeating case of bad publicity for Tesla which may end in regulatory changes.
