The Clarity sub forum is the most activity forum on insideevsforum.

Is it time to change our url to insideClarityForum com?

If only we were ruling the PHEV universe as well as this forum - I have yet to see another Clarity in the wild in my 2267 miles yet...

Haven't see another one here in N.Y. either. :(

I saw a white one in Cincinnati a few weeks ago, but that's the only time. The same two have been sitting in front of the Honda dealer since they got them at the beginning of the year.

The only other one I've seen is owned by another family whose daughter attends the same school as our daughter--Tesla High School. Maybe we should lobby to have the name changed to Clarity High!

  6. Hopefully we can get some of the other sub-categories as busy as the Clarity one, but I'm very happy that Clarity owners have come here as they have. It's really given me great insight into a car that I might not have paid much attention to otherwise, since I don't, typically, get media cars, and therefore the chance to experience one hands-on myself.

    Bravo!

No sightings here either. But not a surprise in truck and SUV country. The real surprise is that our Honda dealer had any in stock. The local Toyota dealers don't even stock the Prius plug-in.

    Good going, guys!

It makes sense... There are multiple large forums for Teslas, Leafs, GM Plug-Ins and Prius drivers... their plug-ins all known quantities and they all have their own corners of the internet

But there isn't really a home for all of the other automakers that are only just now putting out serious electric, phev and hybrid efforts. With Honda releasing the excellent Clarity PHEV, people needed a place to talk about it!

But ya'll are becoming the primary source for data on the Clarity. There is so much info about the Clarity that can only be fleshed out through experience. Watching the Volt in the early days was similarly exciting heh.

Hopefully as more new models are released from other automakers, they seek this forum out as well. Keep it up! :D

No sightings for me. Have traveled from Grand Junction CO to Colorado Springs on one trip and from Grand Junction to Las Vegas on another. Have had several complements on the looks of the car. :D

Thanks for having one here, I think the deal with the Clarity is there really is no other Clarity forum on the web, so it is natural to make use of this one. Tesla, et al, have many forums to go post on so don't really need to come here.

I will say that I really like the forum software used here. I like the multi-quote, nice basic interface that is easy to use from mobile or desktop.

    Thanks,

    Eric

I believe our Clarity is the only one in our city of 90,000 people.

I haven't seen one in North Florida as well. Each time I think I see a new one I realize it's the Accord because the frontend is so similar.

There are three of us on the road up here in Fort Collins. Maybe one or two more and we can start an owners club.

I've seen several here in Palm Springs. My big worry is how it will react to 122 degree heat this summer.

Please let us know how that works out. Doesn’t get that hot where I live in Florida, but it does get above 100 at times.

I too am concerned as our summers are often filled with weeks of 100+ degree days, many reaching 105-108 and peaking about 112. There's nothing cool about our garage either.

We will take a double hit as our solar roof production will also decrease with the heat.
