Has anyone figured out when the charge door light is supposed to turn on and off? I find the light is often not on when I'd like it to be. Like first thing in the morning, when I'm unplugging in the dark, the light is typically not on so putting the cap on the socket is not as easy as it could be. Aside: It would sure be nice if there was a key detector at the front of the car that would unlock the charge door and turn on the charge door light if the door was open.
I'll second that. If you open the charging door the light should probably just stay on. If you are plugged in the light should definitely be on. If you unplug, the light should stay on for at least a few minutes or until the charging door closes.
