Hey everyone. I'm late to the party and just put in a preorder. I'm a little confused on the process. Did you have to go in and sign an order agreement?
I got a call from my dealer almost immediately after placing the deposit pressuring me to come in and sign a contract at which point the deposit is not refundable or I have to cancel the preorder?
Is this how it's supposed to work? Seems wrong.

Also can't find any pictures on the difference between the two 2 tone grey options available for ultimate package. Any sources for what the difference is?

Currently a tesla owner eagerly looking for a change!

My car is coming in the next weeks and I still haven't sign anything. They have assess my current car, but that's it. The rep told me that as soon as they have the car, they have to pay 5k if they don't deliver it to me.

In Europe, they already have the cars, so you can easily find the info there. Like in the Uk site. Here is the brochure too. You'll have an idea of the look of the wheels too if you ordered the Prefferred instead on the Ultimate. And there are YouTube videos.

Not sure if you got an answer to your question, but I'll share my experience.

I went into a local dealer today to test drive and see the car in person for the first time. Was thoroughly impressed and decided to put my name + deposit down. My salesperson just had me fill in the pre-order form off the Hyundai Canada website and choose their dealership when submitting my form. He got the email right away on his end. We briefly discussed pricing and he gave me a price breakdown sheet showing the dealer fees, incentives, etc. We discussed the omission of some dealer installed options (which resulted in some fees being reduced) and then he had me sign the sheet. It did not appear to be any type of contract and he said I can always change my mind when the car arrives.
