brand new ioniq 5: brakes squealing when i back up

    has anyone had this problem: my brakes seem to be squeaking when i back up but the hyundai service people say they don't hear. but everyone in my neighborhood can hear it.

    It's probably a frequency noise that the techs can't hear. Take it back and get several people from the Sales staff to various service personnel to listen. And, find another service center, if necessary. I used to do quality assurance and asked a tech to "fix the squeak" but he couldn't hear it. Asked to have his supervisor listen; he couldn't hear it. Kept asking independent staff to listen and confirm the squeak. For some people, they have no clue they are losing their hearing at higher frequencies.
