Hi everyone, I have a 2018 BMW X5 xDrive40e Hybrid (F15) with a 2.0 engine. Unfortunately, the hybrid system in my car is not charging the hybrid battery, and the 12V battery isn't working either, likely due to the hybrid system failure. I took the car to BMW for diagnostics, but the repair cost was too high, and I couldn't afford it. The diagnostic report showed that the main issue is with the inverter, which is not functioning properly, and the cell module in the hybrid battery is also faulty. If the repair cost at BMW is too high, consider taking your car to a reputable independent mechanic or a shop that specializes in hybrid or electric vehicles. They often charge less than dealerships and may have alternative solutions.
