   Thanks. No, I'm colour blind so I can't be sure what the colour of the light is. I just didn't recall the ring light activating previous to the BMS update.

   Well, wouldn't you know it,... day after I say this I saw the little grille light come on today. I was fiddling with my new KW902 dongle and soulevspy, so maybe this had something to do with it. The dongle was plugged in at the time.
