Not sure if it covers the desired areas, but this is happening: DRIVEtheARC Fast Charging Corridor Now Open From Monterey To Lake Tahoe
First 50 kW CCS/Chademo charge station installed with the CEC north-south corridor program put on-line in near my office in Redding last month. Also two L2 J1772 stations. It's by Chargepoint. No free program involved. I checked it out last week. The utility put in a dedicated 300 kVA transformer and switchgear, so they have capacity to upgrade to 150 kW chargers in the future. The plan is to install a station every 20-30 miles along I-5 between the OR border and San Diego. Not all will be Chargepoint. Several vendors were selected for various corridors. https://www.plugshare.com/location/134821
