Inspired by Fast Eddie B I thought I would give my take on the Continental Pure Contact tires I installed a month ago. I chose these tires over Bridgestone Ecopia low rolling resistance tires because of better rated performance on snow and ice. So far, no wintry weather but the Continental tires are very quiet, handle very well on turns and "road gripping" in general, and have a nice pillow-like feel. I would estimate that I have lost some EV range, possibly as much as 3 miles on the GOM, but that is hard to discern accurately as my EV range after daily charging has dropped to 31-32 in recent weeks compared to last winter. My cost for the set of Pure Contact tires was $700 (w/cash discount) minus a $70 rebate.
