Im in the motorcycle industry and anything built in 2019 is classed as a 2020 model etc. I wonder if the Niro EV (when it arrives) will be a 2020 because they will certainly have been built this year?
According to the following press release that Chance Again found, they could be calling it the 2020 Kia Niro EV (look at foot note 1): https://www.kiamedia.com/us/en/media/pressreleases/15034/kia-teams-with-amazon-to-provide-one-stop-home-charging-solutions-for-electric-vehicles
In Canada, the Niro EV is a 2019 Model, but the Soul EV is a 2020 Model. Spring for Niro, Summer for Soul. They both have the same battery system and tech, just numbers. Although there will be a smaller batter spec Soul EV that goes 248 KMS approx.
