Here is the announcement with teaser on the long range version https://insideevs.com/nissan-leaf-pricing-2019-60-kwh/ I assume that it has the same thermal management system as the previous versions. At this price range, they may be banking that Tesla will not be there with their $35K model for at least next few months.
I thought that the longer-range version is coming this year, but it's not and possibly not even next year!
