2018 Pacifica Hybrid

I just found this forum, and as a 12-month owner of a 2018 Pacifica Hybrid, Limited, I found it very informative. I love my hybrid but have difficulty finding anyone who is knowledgable enough to answer some of my questions. This winter, I noticed it initially running in "hybrid" mode more than last winter. I was wondering if the last recall software update is contributing to this? Since the update, I find it jumping into hybrid more often on cool-cold days. I also would like to find the Application thread that displays the "Engine running due to temperature" notification. Thanks!
