By mid-April this year, Tesla discovered a problem with the hood latch system (produced in China) where the software was not recognizing when the hood was opened. This malfunction could block the driver's view and potentially cause an accident. The recall affects Model Y, X, S, and 3, so it's a lot of cars. All these vehicles have hood latches manufactured by Magna Closures Co. Ltd. based in China (does the China rival know something we don't...) Have anyone here had your car recalled and how was your experience about the problem? It sounds scary enough because this is their biggest recall this year.
