8,004 on the odometer, 2,307 in my hands. Averaging 4.64 mi/kWh (but well over 5, and sometimes over 6, now that it has warmed up). Enough experience with it to now start testing the limits. Got a few chirps out of the P7s and activated the traction control during a 0-to-50 mph speed limit max acceleration today, and also got them to squeal during a sharp corner taken at 40 mph (vs. the 20 mph the bro dozer behind me had to slow to). The best part, though, has been using the actual brake pedal... this thing stops on the proverbial dime!
It's too bad the New London to New Brighton route doesn't offer the opportunity for a Rosie Ruiz shortcut for SEs. While googling for info on this drive, I saw the idea originated with a British London to Brighton Mini run, so that makes the Minnesotan New London to New Brighton run even cooler!
Ha! 12,345 miles at 11 months old! Back to getting over 4mi/kWh with the warmer evenings. Battery temperature appears to be the biggest influence on range. My Mini lives in a car port. Having it charge just before leaving for work boosts range noticeably, especially in winter.
I have 17,205. 18 months. My first electric car. I charge on level one every night. Drive 48 miles a day. I LOVE my MINI. No issues ever!!! LOVE my SPARKY!
@Wreckless117 is putting on miles at a faster rate than I am, so he may overtake me in a couple years, unless I start going on road trips.
My main usage is from M-F, maybe a quick run to store on weekends. So not including weekends, my average per day is 109 miles lol.
In spring/summer/fall absolutely. I still charge up at home for an ~hour while I eat lunch/walk the dog. I've had days where I didn't break and did over 140 miles. Winter time is a different story but I can usually still get 100 miles unless it's in the teens and then mileage drops considerably, but then I just hit the L3 charger for 20-30 minutes.
nice. sounds like you drive a lot for work and you've saved quite a bit of money with this car already.
Oh yea absolutely. I just posted a 1 year review in my other thread, and touched on that, it has easily saved me over $3.5k in fuel costs.
My driving pattern is the same but I average only about 85-90 miles per day. So it sounds like you're my stalking horse. Or maybe we can just declare both of ourselves the extreme use case.
23 months, and 19,397 miles. Only charging at home except for two charges. Only purchased gas twice (obviously not for the SE). Looking forward to seeing my friends at the dealer in a month.
whats really nice to know about these high miles is the apparent reliability.. my uk se on pcp has a 8,000 mile per year on the deal, two years into ownership im just under that amount 15,913 dont do to many long hauls like you american brothers
1 year, 6992 miles. I doubt I'll do any more than that in the future, especially now that we've added an Ioniq 5 to the garage.
