Anyone else been stuck in Quality Check for a week or more?

My LONG awaited MINI SE. It is so great to have and drive.

 

It was worth the wait to see your beautiful SE! I've decided the SE's looks actually make it even more fun to drive. I know my appreciation for this New Yorker cartoon from the 70's classifies me as narcissistic, but I've always loved it.

 

It would appear you also applied some red makeup to your yellow "S" badge.

 

I know there are other first impression threads, but just for our QC club, here are mine.

The headlights are the best I've ever had in a car by far.
The HK system is very clear.
The seats are excellent.
Acceleration is really fun, will put you in the seatback at 30mph.
The control knob interface is really intuitive after a few minutes.
Auto wipers worked great yesterday when I ran into a quick downpour, and I didn't realize they were fully auto, just thought the intermittent adjusted.
I need to get it tinted.

BTW, my wife saw the checkered dash during delivery and said "Oh you picked that?" LOL

Did you just use a touch-up brush on that?

Thanks! apparently the people who ordered the cars left and right of mine agree as well.

I've always leaned toward red cars. This time though, I was leaning toward black with the brown leather interior. I took my wife down to the dealer to help me, and she built this for me...she's amazing! (the car and the wife)

 

Have you got a link for that? I can find the S decal, but not the E-badge.

 

i wanted the checkered dash. somehow it fell through the cracks. Maybe that's what held it up.
