I tried as well but you guys kept buying up all the green ones So glad this worked out for you. Happy motoring! Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
A bit of encouragement. The process was really easy once the car arrived and Mercury was great. No pressure for add-ons in financing or anything like that. It took me under 2 hours total at the dealership, including a fairly long test drive and run-through of the car's functions. Anyway, I hope you get yours soon!
Thanks! I know it is in transit as I type. I expect a text from Mercury very soon. Thank you for the info. Hope you are enjoying yours! Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
Many thanks to Mercury at Mini of Nashville. Already drove 130 miles on one charge! Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
KD4KCD: "Where's my MINI Cooper SE?" MA: "It's out back, charging by the garbage can and the debris that didn't make it into the garbage can."
Mine was parked out front... @KD4KCD must've gotten there before the first charge was complete. Can't blame him though.
Wish that there is way to know how many SE are there locally. I want to keep it “special”. I haven’t seen any 2022 on road to be honest. only seen one 2021 on highway. Glad that they are not as popular as the Taycan. I wonder how i would feel if i keep seeing the same color Taycan everywhere if i drive one.
I don’t get this. I remember checking out the SE around Feb/March. and sites still show 2021. I even went to dealer to check one out in April/May. It was too ugly for me to stomach. I eventually ordered one in June after finding a new 2022 design that is appealing
My Chili Red SE is body color roof as well. It's a configuration option: choose black, white, or body color roof.
You're so cruel! Did you think the 2020/21 SE looked too efficiently electric or did you hate all 2020/21 MINI Coopers?
i actually told the sales advisor that the front grill looks too ugly for me. especially the green badge. I can’t stomach the green badge. i even asked if there is an option to de-badge the back of my 2022. It just ruins the look
As seen at the 7:08 mark in this video of the old, ugly, 2020 MINI Cooper SE on the assembly line, that badge appears to be affixed to the boot lid with adhesive, so you should be able to remove it using fishing line. Let me guess--you didn't order the SE's unique aerodynamic Power Spoke wheels with your MINI Cooper SE? As fellow forum members are tired of hearing, I, too, didn't like the way the 2020/21/22 MINI Cooper SE looks. But, unlike you, who wants your SE to look exactly like a gas-powered MINI Cooper S, I didn't want my SE to include the vestigial fake hood scoop. No Mini configured by John Cooper had a hood scoop and no electric car needs a hood scoop. MINI's head designer, Oliver Heilmer, told me in a letter that it was MINI marketing who stipulated the hood scoop.
Look at my avatar. Green badge is no longer that fugly green. Ugly gray grille too. Things are easily changable.
