    Progress! Overnight my build moved from Paint Booth (since 7/20) to Quality Check.

    Well, well, well, lookie here. The expected completion date of Sept 1 was met. Nicely done MINI Oxford. I feel bad for doubting you.

    Presently my MINI is 'Awaiting Carrier Assignment'

    To quote Ice Cube, today "It Was A Good Day"

    Nothing for me. About 4 weeks now at "Order Received". Makes me wonder if some combination of items on my order makes it avoid the build schedule.

    But I got a new car yesterday anyway. REALLY not an EV. We do still plan to take on the Mini, too, if it is ever built.

    I really doubt it is anything particular about your order. It all comes down the allocations that have been assigned to your dealer. If they have exhausted their allocations they won't be able to assign you a production order number. The only way around it from what I understand is trading allocations with another dealer.

    I ended up calling my dealer two days ago and the Sales Manager told me there were 45 people in the line behind me. It seems the MINI SEs are really, really popular right now.

    I have a Production Number and can track it. Got that the day I ordered and gave a deposit. It is just at step one. Or was there a different number you were talking about?

    No that is it. I wasn't sure if you had received the Production Order Number yet.

    It took me about 3 1/2 weeks before mine moved to Scheduled for Production. I know it is a terribly frustrating hurry up and wait game.

    Gorgeous Camaro! I've always loved the look of this car. Now if I could get a car that looks like this, handles like the Mini, with an electric drivetrain, I would be in heaven!

    Based on the thread regarding cars missing Parking Sensors, I wonder if the Driver Assist option is holding my order up due to issues with supplying the parking sensors?

    I have an Iconic and I had the same thought, but mine just started moving through this week and is now waiting at the port. I'm hoping it arrives fully intact.

    I did not order mine with Driver Assist. Mine is the almost bare, spec, MINI Signature possible. The only addition is Roof Rails for a visual touch. We will most likely never use them.
