Sounds like a relatively good ending. I have had the E712 motor for about 70,000km now, without any issues. Fingers crossed that that's the golden ticket.

Nice work - however, it is completely ridiculous that you had to do this investigative work. 99% of the population would not have the wherewithal to do this and would be stuck managing the problem until something more catastrophic occurred. Ridiculous.
