If your Clarity only gets to 98%, however, start saving for a new battery. </sarcasm> I see 99% frequently, but never 98%.
(Can't help myself) I got a special Clarity from the dealer that charges to 110% for when I really need that extra range, most of you are stuck at 100%, some of you sorry blokes are stuck at 99%, and will never know how it feels to get that extra 10% of range on EV, but when I really need that boost from 44 mile range to 48 mile range, I just set the battery to accept that 110% charge. Its kind of like this
I think cold weather is likely culprit.I live in a warm climate and always shown 100 percent. I usually charge on a level 1 charger. But also I have heard the level 3 charger will not charge to 100 percent by design on Teslas. So I would try a level 1 charger and see if it goes to 100 percent.
If you hit the charge button when it says 99% it will then charge to 100% or at least mine does. Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
Guys, you do realize that 99% on HL, with the assumed truncating, can be 99.0% to 99.9% (or higher). And that equates to less than a half mile (worst case) to less than 250 feet of range using the EPA 47 mile range. For you stats guys, the average would be less than a quarter mile of range loss and not worth worrying about. 99+ v.s. 100%?... A difference that makes no difference is no difference. (One of my favorite quotes)
Honda clearly couldn't sort out all of the app issues some folks had, so instead they completely changed the app and now they no longer provide the battery charge level %. Sadly, the update still didn't fix the issues I had, disappointing!
Rav, Honda would rather look good than be good. If their App won't show some people 100% then change the App. Tim
