The forum recently started displaying location on posts. Seeing your town, state or province, or just your country would be helpful in many contexts.

For example, if you discuss options and trim lines, they differ from country to country. I've gone to my owner's manual index looking for features that don't exist in the U.S. (Color me jealous. :()

To add location, click your name in the upper right, then Personal Details.

Thanks!

It does help and also saves answering with the impending question "what is your location".
To add to that manufacture date and trim would also help, I guess the only way to add that would be in your signature; which I haven't figured out how to do yet.

There are 50 characters allowed in location so I added year Model and Manufactures Build Date (MBD) to my location so now the location shows all the information

The signature is a benefit of subscribing, which is only $20/year and gets rid of the ads.

Great idea - I added my model. Where do you find the MBD?

I don't "subscribe", but I never see ads. I didn't even know they were
a thing. Now that I look at the proxy log, though, that must be what
all those rejected connections to "adthrive" and "sellwild" and
"blueconic" are. Meh.

You must have an ad blocker?

It's tempting. But for this website I'd feel guilty because the ads (and subscriptions) pay for the site.
