Speaking of the Tundra, here's a little story. One of my neighbours at our cabin had one a couple years back. But this was not no ordinary Tundra. He had it all decked up for off-road, incl turbo'ed (after market, I think). It was a monster. Anyway, we were all sitting around by the water, when we saw him driving up to his place in the truck. But you wouldn't believe what it looked like. Every window was either cracked/shattered or missing, and there wasn't a sqft of metal on that thing that wasn't bent. It was an incredible sight,... and the fact that it was still drive-able.
So we asked him what happened, Apparently he got going too fast around a corner and rolled down a little cliff into the bush. Somehow with winches and stuff, he managed to get it out of there and drive it back. He even drove it back to town, and had it written off by the insurance company. Not sure what story he told them... But obviously one tough truck to go through that and still not completely disabled.
He also keeps blowing up his boat engines (about 30K for a new crate engine each time), as he keeps tuning the super chargers to try and eek out another 2 or 3 mph (100 mph boats). Always some entertainment and fun going on there... The guy definitely has more money than brains. He owns one of the largest tire shops in the city, so always lots of cash available, I guess. Really nice guy, though, and gives us all great deals on tires.
He now just drives the latest Ford truck, all decked out for off-road, of course,... Raptor, I think. New one pretty well every year.
