I like the idea of the ultrasonic ROA, but the ROA door-logic system would be a kind of pain in the but. Hopefully it will be possible to disable it in the settings:

I would hardly notice another message on the console after power-off. But it's not a terrible idea to indicate that you might have left something on the back seat based on simply using a rear door before the current driving session, your groceries, a laptop, or perhaps a baby.
