Yes, same ol' Canadian settings on everything. So I was actually driving less than 10 mph over the speed limit when I tried to drive 10 kph over the speed limit.
Yes, I started with 90% charge and 398 km on the GOM (Guess-O-Meter) and made it to Edmonds 212 km distant according to the NAV forecast (but actually drove 228 km because I drove around in Everett and Mountlake Terrace checking out charging stations I could possibly use someday in the future---and finding a good restaurant in Everett) so I made it to Edmonds with plenty of electrons in the battery. But I found a free Level 2 charger on the street in Edmonds and started north with 159 km on the GOM, thinking I would find a charging station somewhere along the way to get me home. When I saw the sign for exit to La Connor I knew that would be a good place to juice up because I've enjoyed visits to that colourful community many times in the past. Fortunately, I found that the one Level 2 in La Connor is in a beautiful spot with free parking and a ChargePoint charger---and I have a ChargePoint RFID. The clam chowder of my dreams was only 33 steps away! A couple hours browsing the many gift shops of La Connor on a sunny day was good fun.
I knew about the existence of the DCFC in Tulalip but I flew by. Next trip I'll definitely check it out.
I'm thinking that you want to drive to a place 200 km from home and then return to home without charging along the way, is that right? Looks like it will be iffy in winter but okay, if a bit scary(!), in summer. Just my guess.
Hyundai NAV outdated for sure. Of the lot of charger-finding apps useful in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia; namely, Greenlots, BC Hydro EV, Flo, ChargeHub, ChargePoint, and PlugShare, in my opinion PlugShare is the best.
133 w/km is a great ratio and is probably the expected norm in ideal conditions (see Bjorn's video )
The average for long range driving will be slightly higher but still a good basis for trip planning (deducting the variables- wind, wet ,elevation, ambient temp etc)
So yesterday I drove this route to my daughter's place in the hills N of Mission, BC, driving in NORMAL mode instead of ECO mode, which I used on the half dozen earlier trips in my Kona. To my surprise, consumption was the SAME (actually one Watt-hour per 100 km LOWER)! Why? Perhaps I drove a little slower because the Sunday traffic was heavy, but I tried to stay 5-10 km/h above the speed limit as before. Perhaps it was the warmer temperature? Perhaps it was the dry road instead of the wet road experienced in the past? Has anyone else tested the difference in consumption between NORMAL and ECO modes?

So, in theory it doesn't make a difference which mode you are in if you accelerate and drive the same way. That's why you're getting the same results.
I used eco mode the first couple weeks to go to and from work, now I'm using normal and I'm getting pretty much the same "consumption" as well since I'm still driving the same way.
The modes just have you too Merry the goal you're seeing yourself.

I just completed the Vancouver Island – Sunshine Coast circuit. This involves more sailing than driving, but with a lot of side trips to investigate coves etc. the distance covered was 388 km. I started out on a full tank and got home with 89 km remaining on the GoM, or 20%. Yay Kona!
I did cheat to the extent of grabbing a very few Wh from a level 2 charger just because I was delighted to find one in an unexpected place at the end of a woodsy road and it actually worked. Every other one I tried would not deliver for one reason or another. For instance it seems that you can't get a Flo station running unless you have money in your account, even if it's a free site. I phoned BC Hydro to try to get their fast charger in Sechelt going, but that seems to be about data-harvesting so I gave up on it after the first three or four questions, knowing I had easily enough juice to finish the trip and get back to my local no-questions-asked station.

Good going, Skookum Pete! Nice road trip circuit you found. Your dissatisfaction with the BC Hydro fast charger in Sechelt reminds me to tell the gang that Hydro's DCFC at the Superstore in Mission would not work for me last Sunday, even though a car on the CHAdeMo plug was doing fine.

Nope. No AC or Climate either time.
Today someone told me that the BC Hydro fast charging stations with 2 plugs, one CHAdeMo and one CCS/SAE will charge on only one or the other at one time; e.g. if a Leaf is charging, the plug for Konas will not charge, and vice versa. That seems to be true, judging from my recent experience.
Have had my Leafs disconnected from the DCFC energy supply many times for that very reason. Signage should be better and also software changed so the vehicle charging can't be disconnected simply by pushing "stop" on the screen. If a vehicle is charging and drawing less than L2 rates or until a pre-set max 85% soc while 2nd vehicle is waiting is implemented the problem will get worse.
There should be ample capacity to install a "top off L2" (for those who need the xtra kWh) adjacent to the DCFC to avoid these issues.
Checked my consumption history today on the 8" screen ( EV/ Eco driving/EV economy history) Have always driven in ecco mode although sometimes not so economically.
The best and the worst were on the same day driving the same 10km, slight elevation difference and an obvious headwind, as well as cold temp early am and warm in the pm on the same route home.
Worst: 17/3/19 - 22.7 kWh/100km (227 Wh/km)
Best:17/3/19 - 9.2 kWh/100km ( 92Wh/km)
I was an energy piggy on the way to work (lots of heat, headwind etc), then on the way home I made up for it

I charged it last night up to 90% without charging it at all for one week. I only drove to and from work. I was down to about 20%.
However, this is the GOM with 90% SOC!
294 miles projected range. The 5m/kwh were only the last 2 days. But that's where I am with work driving and some city driving.
