Here's a report on the subject from a
reputable news site, Bloomberg:
"
Tesla to Drop ‘Misleading’ Marketing in Germany Touting Model 3"
(WARNING: That link goes to Bloomberg's "Hyperdrive" page, not to the specific article, so the link may soon be out of date.)
Well congratulations, "TeslaInvestors", you have a complaint about Tesla which is actually half-right. Yes, the way Tesla now advertises prices for its cars on its website is quite misleading, including estimations of fuel savings and tax credits which someone may or may not qualify for, and putting an asterisk after the price. You have to look down at the bottom of the page to find the real price, in a smaller font. (◣_◢)
Where you're wrong, Mr. Shorty Pants, is in claiming Tesla has been doing that "for years". In fact it was only fairly recently that Tesla started that misleading practice.
In fact, that was one of the reasons that I became a Tesla fan: Because Tesla was, until recently, eschewing that sort of misleading marketing. I expect that sort of false advertising from other companies, but not from Tesla!

Here's hoping that other governments follow Germany's lead in forcing Tesla to stop that kind of misleading advertising.
