Be Aware of this incorrect offer. I ordered wiper blade inserts from Amazon which indicated they were for a Honda Clarity. But the Clarity requires two 26" blades. Ordering from this location I received one 26" and one 16". I returned the blades, and I told Amazon about the incorrect information.

They are not identical, which might be the problem, maybe they got flipped around backward. I don’t know how to explain this at this moment though...

Okay I just swapped the soft insert. The whole assembly isn't intended to be swapped. There is a raised area along the edge which I would guess is a spoiler to hold the blade down onto the windshield at higher car speeds. If they were swapped that spoiler would be on the wrong edge. I don't know if this will fix the noise problem. Since I already applied RainX I may never know. I've also ordered new inserts.
They are indeed equal lengths.
I think the soft part that rests against the windshield can take a "set" just sitting there in the summer heat. Last year we had 178 consecutive days with no measurable rain.
We're supposed to get rain at the end of the week.

Swapping the blade insert will work, it was the whole assembly I was trying to warn about for exactly the reason you described. Thank you jdonalds for having the words when I didn’t.

Good advice. I found a helpful video of the process here.
I will try it because the OEM wiper experience has been one of the worst aspects of the car in my view.

FWIW, on mine the OEM passenger assembly was already "reversed". I very much doubt any company is going to be selling a special "backwards" assembly for the passenger side. That's just the way it is, just like with the wheel covers being backwards on one side.

Finally I got around on replacing the second one. HUGE difference! These don't skip or anything. Wonder if the ones being installed in Japan are of different quality since it looks like most owners are having the same issue.
Depending on the cost, for the next set I may get the OEM ones, but hoping someone else gets them and say they are good first.

I didn't want to wait for the long estimated Ebay delivery time for replacement wiper refills from China, so I picked up a pair at my local Honda Dealer. They charged me $7.46 ea, for Part No. 76622-TDK-J01, and the replacement was really easy.
The only minor problem I encountered was trying to get the blades into the maintenance position, using the procedure in the User Manual on Page 496. I tried several times, but I just couldn't get them to stop in that position. Has that procedure worked for others?

This is how I get my wipers, like @vicw does, $15 a pair of refills from Honda dealer, 60 second install each. As for the “maintenance position” question. I just pick them up and they stick straight up away from the glass and work on them like that. Same for all cars. Frequently done in winter regions before ice storms to prevent wipers from freezing to windshields... you’ll often see hundreds of cars with wipers pointing to the sky at an office building near you before a predicted ice storm. I Have no idea what the manual says...but if “maintenance position” is more complicated than that, I say ignore the manual and just lift them up.

My original blades skips and have streaks. I flipped the insert around and that took care of the streaks but it was still skipping. Rain-X helped and the skipping was gone. I tried Rain-X blades like AlanSqB suggested but they were horrible. Skipped and jumped like crazy and I took them off. Waiting for next rain storm to try out the eBay's $2 silicone refill.

I used my left hand to lift wiper control to 'mist' position. Turn on the car by pressing the power button: Wipers go up and down once. While still holding the wiper control, I pushed the power button to turn the car off, and the wipers move to maintenance position. Seemed pretty easy.
