What color is your Clarity?

Doesnt bother me any. While I've grown to quite like the styling of the car, I understand why it's such a polarizing look.
The stares I get on the highway make this car a priceless gem to me

Aside from those damn rear wheels, it looks really cool to me as well.

You either are ambivalent about the rear wheels, grin and bear them as the other aspects of the car are much more important, or think the skirts are fugly and can't get past them.

Very, very few people seem to like the skirts and believe that the car looks better with rather without them .

And before you write that you like the rear wheel wells, I said that very few seem to prefer them. I didn't say that no one on the planet does

There's someone on this forum that has a skirt delete as their icon. Honestly, after seeing that photoshop, I dont feel like that's the problem. I've noticed most cars on the road that have the aggressive taper at the back tend to have thick c-pillars; while Honda chose the safe route, and went with visibility. I often wonder if people are reminded of those large square frame glasses that often portrayed nerd characters in those 80 flicks.

Now look at how symmetric this one is. It seems "correct. "

I prefer the Clarity's highly-functional rear fenders because they contribute to what the Clarity is: An amazingly efficient automobile. I also prefer the small 7-gallon gas tank because it provides space for the 17 kWh battery.

While I was still working, I sat at this window for 15 years, often turning my head so I could gaze at the functional beauty of my gen-1 Insights (the one in the photo is my 2nd). One of my favorite comments about my Insight came from someone who told one of my co-workers how ugly my Insight was compared to a Pontiac Aztec. I imagine someone who doesn't appreciate the Clarity's rear fenders must absolutely hate the ultra-aerodynamic gen-1 Insight.

I am in still another class. When I first read about skirts on this forum, I had to Google what skirts meant in the automotive context--as in what in the world are they talking about. After I found out, what they were, I still wonder why anybody cared. Then I discovered many other threads discussing wheel aesthetics and i am now wondering about that, too.

Of course everyone is different, but in general from my experience as an engineer; people like symmetry. Especially with circles, like wheels.

In general, there are people who differ in opinion .
