It only takes 10–15 minutes, and your responses are anonymous.

Reflecting on my answers:
  • 25% or less SOC -> charge it
  • 50% negotiable
  • 75% skip it
  • free L2 charging at restaurants and shops that want my business
  • Plan route using PlugShare
    • Drive using built-in Tesla navigation

The scenarios in your survey were useless, because the hypotheticals did not specify which direction you were going (to a destination or coming home) or what the charging situation would be. Living on an island, the longest round trip I can make is withon my car's range, so using my actual situation, which is what I defaulted to, means I almost never use public charging except for particular circumstances, but I am not sure that tells you anything useful.

Living on an island
When you get a chance, I would be interested in current practices on Hawaii and compare and contrast with Puerto Rico. The reason is I often live my life somewhat apart from ordinary society . . . almost an island in a crowd.

What do you want to know? Here on Hawaii Island, public charging is still inadequate, though more are coming. No Tesla superchargers at all. A few 50 kw fast chargers, mostly in the larger towns, some ChargePoint L2s, mostly at shopping centers. It's tricky for those who can't charge at home.
