Brake lights question

Hi knowledgeable Ones,
We've had our '21 Kona for about 6 weeks now and are just loving it.
One thing I can't find in the Owner's Manual is when are the brake lights lit by regen braking?
I'm using regen setting 2 (of 3), which give pretty firm retardation when you lift off the 'throttle'.
Is there a certain point on the 'charge' indicator where the brake lights are lit?

On my EU version it’s based on deceleration rate. It’s on in levels 2 and 3.
But not when finally stopped using the left paddle hold.

I couldn't stand not knowing when my MINI Cooper SE lit the brake lights during regen braking. Here's how I wired a forward-facing LED to the center, high-mounted brake light that I can see in my rear-view mirror.

That LED helped me learn to minimize the flashing of the brake lights so it wouldn't bug the driver of cars behind me. I don't know if it would be as easy to install one of these really tiny 12V LEDs in a Kona, but I'm still offering them free to anyone who wants a couple (I bought 100).

This video shows when Brake Lights comes on in the SE, starts at 6:05 min mark, even though I use the "one pedal driving", once I am at a stop, I keep my foot on the brake pedal, just to keep the brake light on so not to get rear ended.......

I couldn't wait a year for that video; I had to know right away.
 
I find in my Kia the brake lights are too touchy, they will activate while in cruise, like when you are 1mph over setpoint and going downhill
this can be touchy when people think you are brake checking them.
