Highest Reported EV Range for Honda Clarity

Curious to see what the highest reported EV range is for a Honda Clarity.
GOM or actual miles driven? It's not difficult to fool the GOM into showing big numbers.

For the last few years, even in warm weather, we rarely see the advertised 47 miles of range on the GOM of our 2018 Clarity Touring with about 24K miles on the ODO. However, its range of 40 EV miles works for our local trips; the massive 7-gallon gas tank and 40+ MPG works for our long drives. It's been a great car for me and my wife.

Tomorrow, we're picking up a friend in our Clarity (our MINI Electric's rear seats cannot comfortably accommodate adults) and driving to see "Mickey 17" at the IMAX theater about 10 miles away. We'll be able to use some of the battery's charge for heat and still stay in EV for the entire excursion!

Clarity is the best car I've owned. If I was forced to replace, I'd either buy another Clarity or another PHEV (or extended range EV). To me, it is ideal to just flip to hybrid mode if electric range is gone.

Range of Clarity is above 300 miles (when you include the hybrid gas engine). Importantly, if electric range goes to zero, you just keep going in hybrid mode. To answer your question, my 2018 Clarity gets 24 to 34 all electric miles which is lower than most, but fine for me. (winter/summer range)

As always, it depends on driving conditions and habits. While living in SF Valley and commuting 20-22 miles daily to work on West LA I got 52-55 miles range almost all the time, no big seasonal changes. After moving to Vegas, I reached the 63-64 mile range most of the year, but on SUMMER it would go down to 43-45. Now in Phoenix area, 50-52 miles October to April, 40-43 on extremely hot summers, which I blame on the AC. Battery capacity has fallen from 55Ah to 49, with 6 years/42K miles.

sold my car in Nov 21, but I recall hitting high 50's on electric regularly; I have distinct memory of squeezing out 62 miles one day, but conditions were ideal, and most of the driving were 40-55mph back roads. On hybrid, I would average 50-55mpg(not counting electric miles). The Clarity is an excellent car; I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it

I periodically collect this kind of data. I do it only for ~full charges, and I compare the car's reported range (i.e., 'GOM") to actual range driven by odometer. Odometer-based range and car's reported estimate are generally reasonably well correlated, in my experience. Anyway, here's a table (sorry, not taking the time to format; it's just date and reported range pairs) that gives a sense both of the seasonal variation (upstate NY) and the downward creep as battery capacity is lost over the years. Aside from that, I think the highest I've ever seen in the upper 50's, maybe 57-58, something like that. This summer is teaching me that the 50's are probably gone forever for my car - best I've seen is 48/49 this year.
