Yesterday we attended press day for the 2025 Montréal International Auto Show, which includes the official Canadian reveal of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 electric SUV, and we had access some other pretty cool EVs, like the Dodge Charger Daytona, the North American ID.Buzz, the new Kia EV6, and more. I also had the privilege of conducting an interview with the Cadillac Global Design Manager, Laetitia Lopez to talk about their Optiq, Lyriq, and Vistiq electric SUVs. We hope you like our quick video. You can find a link for tickets to the auto show, which runs from January 17th to January 26th, 2025, in the description of the video.

Andre, couldn't you still have asked Ms. Lopez why Cadillac loves to use piano black interior and exterior trim? Even though your non-redundant multi-camera setup croaked before she could answer...even if you didn't have a pencil and paper to write down her answer...even if you tripped on a piece of loose carpeting, took a header and ended up in the hospital, I'm sure you would have remembered the answer to this all-important question.

Oh well, I'm can guess her answer: "Piano black trim is part of Cadillac's upscale design language--just tell Jeeves to wipe off any fingerprints you carelessly leave on our luxurious, shiny black trim."

LOL. Unfortunately she was booked solid all day and we only had 15 minutes with her. From the initial setup, cameras, mics, etc, to the interview, to the problem and attempted recovery, we had no time. I tried to schedule an extra 5 minutes later in the afternoon, but she has zero free time available.
