We are in the UK and went to see the J01 Cooper SE. I must say that it looks fantastic and build quality is exceptional. The interior is a bit larger and materials feel really nice. I find the steering wheel to be on the slight chunky side. Exterior looks great in person like really good. Driving position was nice and low. The boot was slightly larger but about 3x as deep for under storage.

Two trim levels were in the showroom. Cooper E and SE.

Is it worth to buy a left hand drive and import it to Canada as a used car? Because of the 100% import tariff, I can see there will not be any new Mini SE in Canada for a long while.

My US dealer's lot is full of F66 models (and I even spotted some 5-door models, are they F65?), ICE of course. While the tail lights aren't that great in my opinion, overall I think this design is a decent next generation. The F66 seems to look a lot like the J01. I don't think they handle as well as the F56 but the difference is probably unnoticeable to any but rally enthusiasts. I drove an F66 for a few days and I felt like I could still out-drive almost anyone else on the road.

They had a 5dr F65 in the showroom and you can tell its been heavily facelifted but done very well. The J01 not having the plastic arches and flushmount handles is actually a bonus in my book.

Im staying in Hammersmith on our yearly London trip. The amount of F56 SEs here js staggering like literally everywhere.

It draws my eye as well. The big, bright screen (that's pretty much the same across models) looks fantastic and I'm hoping it might still be possible to code out various annoyances.
