I bought a set of wr-g4s 195/55-16s in late '22. The Nokians have a hard to measure efficiency loss. I believe that they are the lowest rolling resistance snow capable tyres. They are great in sub zero weather. Warm wet weather they are a little bit so-so. They are quite tolerant of 90-100F NC summers, but do appear to wear a bit quicker then.
I'd happily use them as all year commuter tyres in NY. I ran the euro version nokians all year back in the UK. I'm pretty sure that you will like them.
I've just splashed out on a set of extreme contact sport02s in 205/45-16. I have a probably wet event this weekend and my Nankangs are down to the wear bars... The Contis replaced worn out RT660s on my BBS RG-F wheels. I have not been able to find 205/50-15s Contis since spring. Supposedly on back order... Full throttle in the rain on the way back and power was only being limited to about 90%

They should get better with a few miles on them. The Contis will be my autocross travelling and wet event tyres. The last time I drove in the rain on 200TWs, I was spinning the front wheels in cruise on the interstate

. If the efficiency hit isn't too great, I may also daily the Contis. My factory Kooks have maybe 1/3 life left.
