A lotus crossover… as an EV…
This seems as far from lotus origins as I can think of. But then again, I am one to talk having never owned a lotus - and likely never will. Not for a lack of a desire though ;)

My dream: A Caterham 7 with a 200-hp motor powered by lightweight solid-state batteries--bring it!

This Ariel E-Nomad is a little taller than a Caterham 7, but the off-road EV concept almost fits the bill even without solid-state batteries. Specs: 281 hp, 361 lb-ft, 1,975 lbs, 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, 41 kWh battery, 150-mile range, CCS 20%-80% charging in 25 minutes. Ariel's in Britain; maybe they could get together with Caterham.

Specs don't mention ground clearance which is most important for off-road. Looks more like a toy than a real off-road machine.

I found this online:
"The Ariel Nomad, the all-terrain version of the Ariel Atom sports car, has 300mm of ground clearance when in its off-road configuration. It also has an approach angle of 71 degrees and a departure angle of 82 degrees."

So it's a toy with less than a foot of ground-clearance. Maybe it has a really thick titanium skid-plate.

I'm more interested in on the road. Ariel has been making their amazing Atom road car (usually powered by hot Honda car engines) for more than 20 years. It would be surprising if there isn't an e-Atom on the drawing board, if not already in a company garage (the garage with blacked-out windows).
