Picking up the 500e next Thursday if all goes well. Dealing with Fiat dealer has been horrible. First they claimed to have lost our reservation, kept bouncing us around. I emailed a contact I still have at FCA that called the GM who then called us. But it was “call me back asap because these cars are selling fast”

Its been a horrible experience all around.

Is this car coming from a Stellantis dealer who loathes Fiats?
 
IMG_3189.webp IMG_3189.webp Well we went tonight to sign for the car and ended up leaving. Bunch of clowns dealing with old 4 square model. What’s hilarious is the pricing on this car is set because they are being sold to offset emissions fines. There was a huge price difference from Online and in person like not even close to reality. Multiple trips to “let me speak with the manager” Hello! Its set pricing and you are making 400-600$ on each car.

my wife works in finance and it takes alot for her to get upset. She was getting annoyed because she kept saying you are t applying the rebate and the calculator is ofd. as we were leaving the sales person walks up to us with the manager and says “ok we have the best deal” im like why do we have to play these games on a car that has set pricing from the OEM on lease and this should have been an easy sale. Have a nice night. The trade in on the gas Mini was whatever. I think they were going to give a bit more on trade and then say “oh we forgot to apply the ev rebate and we can drop the junk fees”


I reached out to another dealer and will see with them. Maybe im just out of touch but the lease price was around what Im paying on the SE… like I Said 40-60$ diff online vs in store maybe but not almost 170$. These dealers need to die a fast and painful death.

as for the car is drives really nice and is actually a bit more spacious inside vs the mini height wise. Its about as quick as a Naturally aspirated R56 Mini. Rides really nice and is hilarious around a corner. UConnect is really good as well!
 
Yesterday I reached out to another dealer. Within an hour I had correct pricing. Went this am to do the deal. About 45 mins. It’s actually the dealer we wanted to use in the first place and sales person that kept reaching out to us.

Sales person had different options laid out. Trade in on the Gas Mini was exactly what we wanted. No junk fees or admin fees. Pricing matched website including the excess use plan.

What a saga its been.. picking up the car tonight. Originally Tuesday.. they drilled the front bumper by mistake and installed the front plate holder. I refused delivery as I asked for it not to be installed.. they handled it well enough by switching us to another unit on the lot.
 
It looks great in black with the red mirrors. If Fiat makes an Abarth version, what could they do to make it look any better?

They did make an Abarth version but for EU only. I wanted White but wifey doesnt like white cars. We settled on black

the Push button drive selectors is a bit ofd but easy to use. Fiat App is wonky too

Wanted something different. We already had a gas F55 Cooper S and didnt want another Mini. When the 500e was announced for Canada we jumped on the opportunity
