Hey all,
We will be looking for a new-to-us EV soon; our Mini Cooper electric will be getting too small as our family grows. Kia/Hyundai seem to be the main player in the market right now, Tesla aside which we won't consider for numerous reasons. I have heard horror stories of things breaking or exorbitant maintenance costs ($3k for a dielectric coolant refresh??), odd or critical feature omissions, etc etc.
What have your experiences been, boots on the ground with Kia/Hyundai EVs as far as how the car has held up and the cost for maintenance/repair?
Please include your model yr and mileage so we can gauge the 'wear and tear' (e.g. a car with 2k miles and no issues is less suggestive than one with 80k mi and no issues).
