Wait. In this Honda Prologue ad, at the 5-second mark, my silver gen-1 Insight turns into the hydrogen-powered Honda Clarity FCX, the precursor of the Clarity Fuel Cell, Clarity Electric, and the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. Two seconds later, the Clarity FCX turns into the Honda Prologue. The ad didn't show the PHEV, but it did recall a version of the Clarity.
:)
I wondered why I had never heard of the FCX Clarity. Wikipedia says US leases totaled 48 (!!) over the time period 2008-2015. Similar low numbers elsewhere. And they cost about a million $ each to make by hand.

Jamie Lee Curtis had an FCX. Honda tried to get high-profile people to drive them. I believe she had to go to a Honda hydrogen station to get a fill-up because Shell (who just closed their Los Angeles H2 stations) and other vendors weren't in the business yet. A friend of mine is JLC's in-law.

The traction battery may not have been significantly compromised. Lithium batteries do not self-discharge as rapidly as wet cell batteries. It is entirely possible that the battery has not reached a SOC that would be considered damaging. The battery is also still under warranty.

The 12V battery will need to be replaced.
Thanks for your insights on this!
