I actually got the names for the colors from Honda's website when you build a car online. So blame Honda.Ahem, that's Crimson Pearl. The plan going into the dealer was to get the Green one. But when we saw it and the red one, red won.
Based on the photos I saw, I wanted the Moonlit Forest until I actually saw it in person. The Crimson was beautiful in real life but The dealer who gave me the best price didn't have the Crimson. Only had black, white, grey and silver. Once I saw the Silver, I knew it was meant for me.
That Crimson sure did look sharp, though.
Crimson pearl (autocorrects!)I generally don’t to buy white cars and cars with light interiors. However living in the desert makes a white car and light color interior practical. I was thinking of getting the cream is in pearl with a light interior.
I believe Honda refers to the Moonlit Forest Pearl as the "hero" color for the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. It's not available on any other Honda. I'm so glad the Clarity that came to our dealer December 2, 2017, was Moonlit Forest Pearl because that was the color I liked the most--I'd already been waiting nearly a year for this car.Moonlit Forest Green is the signature color of the Clarity Phev and as such comes from the factory with an extra kwh of capacity and 10 extra EV miles.
You are 100% correct. By far, the black hides the hideous wheel skirts the best; but it is a nightmare to keep it clean. My dealership only had black so I got black, even though I'm not a fan of it because it gets dirty fast. But after I got it, I realized black helps the rear wheel skirt blend in with the car tires. You almost have to stare at it to realize the car has those wheel skirts. So I'm quite happy with black, since I'm not a wheel skirt fan
Doesnt bother me any. While I've grown to quite like the styling of the car, I understand why it's such a polarizing look. Why he would tell a stranger that his new car is "ugly" is beyond me. Even if he thought it was ugly, you don't say it out loud in a polite society.
