This why cars and everything else is so expensive in N/A. And why we have so many rich lawyers. It's not just what the companies have to pay (and pass on to customers) to settle, but all the extra operating and administrative expenses to mitigate all this (CYA). All ends up as extra cost to us. And of course the insurance companies love it, too.
