That sucks! Hopefully you can get most of them fixed! The people who cut our grass at home got a bit too close to the car… no clue why they were randomly cutting weeds up front as I have no grass or weeds. Anyways have them on video and my detailer will likely have to fill/wet sand

That sounds like something I would do! (Either that, or lay well back and let all the idiots pass me so that they can absorb the flying rocks.)Used 3% of the battery's charge in a full-burn merge onto the interstate to make sure I got on ahead of the TWO gravel trucks approaching (with one of them billowing enough dust to convince me it was probably dropping rocks too).

I wanted my SE to look its best when I arrived at Munro & Associates tomorrow for Sandy Munro's $49 Open House. That meant I had to retrieve my Power Spoke wheels from the most distant corner of the basement (where my wife doesn't see them and comment that our MINI doesn't need 3 sets of wheels). I rolled the wheels up the stairs, dragged my heavy hydraulic jack up the stairs, found my electric impact wrench and torque wrench, and in just 2 hours my SE was in full regalia (with a wash for good measure) for the 50-mile trip from Ann Arbor to Auburn Hills.
I was persuaded to attend the open house when InsideEVs' major Tesla contributor, Bob Wilson (@bwilson4web) said he was driving 700 miles from Huntsville, Alabama, for the 2-hour open house. I won't even have to seek out a charging station.
Here's Elektro, wearing his Power Spoke wheels for the 5th time. You can see my thick, 48-Amp orange charging cable on the ground behind my SE. You can also see reflected in the rear window the power line coming to my home, carrying the electrons to my EVSE (see how I turned a reflection I couldn't avoid into a feature?).

Tomorrow, the Power Spokes will go back into the basement where's there's no chance of them meeting a greedy concrete curb hungry for some Energetic Yellow paint. I've never curbed my Loop Spokes, but I'm way too paranoid whenever my Power Spokes are exposed to the real world. I knew it would be this way 6 months before my SE arrived and the Loop Spokes were here and waiting (as was the scoopless base MINI Cooper hood I'd purchased). The Power Spokes will go back on for the next Drive Electric Week event I attend.
Before and after, so far loving the drop on the H& R springs.

Speaking of commitments, Your commitment to black, with a tasteful retention of just a little Energetic Yellow in the right places is awesome. I'll never forget reading on a forum years ago, "Black isn't a color, it's a lifestyle." You're living that lifestyle big-time.Car looks great, 700 miles by the Tesla driver is a serious commitment.
Yes factory wheels, I am running 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers.Looks terrific!
Those are factory rims, correct?
Are you using wheel spacers?

I go between car colors, may last two Audi's were a steel grey and a nardo grey. Two cars before that were black, I have a hard time looking at chrome accents and trim on cars lol.Speaking of commitments, Your commitment to black, with a tasteful retention of just a little Energetic Yellow in the right places is awesome. Nice.. PPF ? Ceramic? .. thanks! Before and after, so far loving the drop on the H& R springs.
I believe Florida and Texas are the second and third largest buyers of EVs after California. They aren't leftie states, or have much in the way of EV incentives...I first parked next to two Teslas and a Mach E at an event, then on the way home parked next to another Mach E while doing a bit of shopping. After I arrived home, I could have parked by the Ioniq 5 just up the street, but didn't (will be interesting to see if they are moving in, or just visiting). Oh, and I could have parked next to an EV6 at the same event in the morning, but there wasn't room. Pretty crazy for a conservative Midwestern town!
Oh! And I also drove 135 miles at 60-70 mph with the A/C on and a passenger much of the time, while using only 90% of the battery.
Looks great! I hope you weren't stuck in Bay area traffic the whole way. How far is South Bay MINI from your home? Please tell us your first impressions, if you don't mind.I picked up my Resolute edition! Boy, was it fun driving home. View attachment 20812
