No, there are two parts. One part is for vehicles under 14,000 and the other is for 14,000 and above.

‘(4) LIMITATION.—The amount determined under this subsection with respect to any qualified commercial clean vehicle shall not exceed— ‘‘(A) in the case of a vehicle which has a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 14,000 pounds, $7,500, and

‘‘(B) in the case of a vehicle not described in subparagraph (A), $40,000

Brilliant! Now the critical minerals and battery component requirements are evaded and depreciation can also be claimed. Now I just have to become an automotive journalist or a social media influencer.
