I would think the multi-tone would only have impacted the time before it got onto the manufacturing line. I thought you would have made it onto the vessel that 2 others got onto on 11/7, because it seems like they like to group a few cars going to the same US port before booking a vessel. Hopefully they just forgot to update your order tracking.

I just called the 1-866-ASK-MINI and they said that they have not assigned my car to a vessel yet. They said that there is nothing else they can do or tell me at this point. What a frustrating experience indeed. 4 weeks at the port and still not assigned to a vessel.

That's terrible - I know how frustrating it is to wait for a car that is stuck at port. Sorry to hear that Mini could not provide you with any information.

Do you know what the final destination port is for your Mini ?

Brunswick, GA

It looks like the next two ships will be Hawaiian Highway and Donington.

My SE loitered at Southampton for more than a month, but that was when the pandemic was just getting started. I've wondered how random the shipping process is at Southampton. Is it first-in-first-out or as-many-of-the-last-in we can get on this ship? The latter alternative would be criminal, but logistically easier.

I won't post this cruel joe of a photo again--I'll just link to the last time I did.

Not to bring up a possible worse scenario, but my SE got stuck at the destination port for over four weeks (during first year of pandemic), due to lack of drivers for the trucks. It seemed the closer my SE got to me the longer it took.

My Mini is still sitting at the Port for 4 weeks now. It doesn't look like there is much activity in the Spreadsheet, so maybe demand has dropped and they are scheduling fewer ships. I'm starting to doubt that my car will come before the end of the year. Anyone else in the same situation?

I just checked this morning and it looks like my Mini was just loaded on the vessel "Donnington" a couple of days ago. It stayed at the port for 33 days. The ship is scheduled to arrive in Brunswick on December 16th, so I might get it before Christmas!!!

Looks like my Mini arrived at port just after your Mini departed. (Is your Mini taking a detour through Bremerhaven, perhaps to be joined by other vehicles?)

I'm really impressed with the shipping information that is available at

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:5.7/centery:52.9/zoom:8

But seeing all of the ship traffic that is present world-wide.... the planet is doomed. Not even EVs will prevent climate change. It is time to batten down the scuttles.

That is great news - It would make an awesome Christmas gift !!!

Mine went from Bremerhaven to Southampton and then back to Bremerhaven - according to vesselfinder and marinetraffic...

For those that had their car just loaded, did the status changed from at the port to in transit?
Yeah, it’ll go from At the Port to In Transit after it’s loaded onto a boat in Southampton; it could take a couple of days for the status to change. At the destination port, the status will go backwards from In Transit to At the Port when it’s unloaded, then will go back to In Transit when it’s on its way to the dealership.
