I waited 51 weeks (thanks to ordering months before production--and the pandemic--began). This car is worth the wait. Sometimes I worry I might over-hype the things I like, but that's never been a worry regarding my SE.

Lol! At the opposite end, I have to stifle my constant urges to tell everyone all about my car and how wicked good it is! A stroke of fate made everything align just right to enable me to get this car: model year changeover, a small windfall (part of my down payment), the continuation of Canadian and Quebec EV rebates past their uncertain end dates, supply chain issues having little effect, and the car arriving before APRs began to skyrocket. I feel like bragging to those less fortunate (ha!) would be cruel.

That's different from the MINI Flexible Fast Charger, which is now included with all SE and is much better than the TurboCord. See the forum post on the charger.
Our car made it to Vancouver and arrived at the dealer tonight. We’re picking it up sometime this week. That was a surprisingly short cross country trip compared to what I’d previously been told as far as turnaround times. Landed east coast September 27, at dealership October 17 on the other end of the country.

Has anyone had their car “stuck” in the Quality Control phase of production for three days? In reviewing the spreadsheet, it appears that most cars zip through Assembly Line to Ready for Transport in one day. Having our car stuck in Quality Control for three days is concerning; we hope that it’s not indicative of a problem in the car. Ours is a 2023 Cooper SE Countryman All 4 in Bern.

On this forum, there's a long-standing thread, Anyone else been stuck in Quality Check for a week or more?, but that thread discussed the MINI Cooper SE cars stuck at Plant Oxford in the UK. The consensus in that thread was that a single missing part could be responsible for pulling a car from the production line to the sideline. The group who found themselves united by this dilemma eventually saw the factory release all of their SEs from QC within the span of a week or so, but that week didn't happen until the production line was paused for other reasons.
Hopefully, the part your Countryman needs won't be long in coming and the factory will move it back to the production line quickly.

Finally looks like my SE is in the queue for manufacturer - received a VIN# What kind of timeline have others experienced between in the queue for manufacture and the actual date is was made. Hope to make the November cutoff prior to the elimination of the active cruise control and alarm system.

My 51-week wait was so long that I removed it from the spreadsheet because it was skewing the average into a more disappointing zone.

Ours sat in production begins for over a week and then zipped through assembly and was at the port within like two days. Currently sitting at the port.

Hate to break it to you, but think ACC and alarm were removed long before the official announcement. Since you have the VIN you can check to see what your build has on bimmer.work. 541 should be ACC, and S302A looks to be the alarm
Welcome to the forum! From your forum name I assumed you lived in the southern hemisphere, but in Norway you will have a much more robust charging infrastructure. Do they call your wife's SE the "Resolute" model in Norway?
We ordered the Maximise trim level then added a few more options, alarm, privacy glass, 4 years service plan. We originally ordered moonwalk grey but had to chance because it’s discontinued in Norway.
What does the Norwegian 4-year service plan include for the EV? Two changes of the brake fluid and four new cabin air filters?

Kind of weird, my dealership gave me an order number. I ordered it in August (Sig + SE), and changed the order in September (to Iconic). It shows up in the mini USA login ("scheduled for production"), but when I call in to bmw they say it doesn't show up in their system. I guess the dealership, corporate, and the mini garage are 3 different systems. It's all good, it was just funny to me to have the Mini rep. on the phone tell me that the production number was bringing up an error, and look in the mini garage, and have it say that it is "scheduled for production."
That's about it, the package cost 5k nok, they would be about 12k without the service plan.

insightman, thanks so much for directing me to this thread; I had not seen it.
All others, I phoned ASK-MINI, and he reiterated what insightman stated: likely a missing part. He added that there is a second scenario that they frequently see: if there is a build-up of vehicles at the port or awaiting transfer to the port, Nedcar might "freeze" production until there is space on transportation. With regard to my Countryman SE, it's status updated today (i.e., one week later) to "Awaiting carrier assignment".
