Just got an email from dealer saying “your Mini has been loaded onto a ship and is making its way across the ocean to Candian shores!!!”
It was originally scheduled to be built today so that’s amazing. She didn’t tell me which ship it’s on so I unfortunately still can’t track it.
Woohoo!! I didn’t think there were proactive MAs/dealerships in Canada. I have to pester my MA for the scantiest bits of info, and I’ve curtailed that down to one text convo per week. The finance guy hasn’t bother to return any of my calls. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well mine just went into external body production... how do you guys know which boat it goes on? Or do you just watch the fleet and watch the one that departs Southampton when your status changes to in transit? (I'm excited)
Some are able to get the ship name by calling Ask Mini. Others like me ([emoji1063]) just assume based on what ship sailed the day prior to status change as there’s usually a delay in the status updating after it’s shipped.
It’s very exciting to be part of the production and tracking.
I've been able to track Hawaiian Highway on Shipfix without a paid account, seems to be near real-time. I just looked up Brooklands on there and see this:Anyone else on the Brooklands ship? If anyone has access to the vessel tracking, is it still on schedule for a 6/26 arrival to the Baltimore port?
Yep, just stumbled on that. If travel from CA to CO is the same as it was in October I should be able to sign the papers the 29th or 30th.Heritage leader at Long Beach. One more day to Oxnard.
I'm on that boat with you! I cannot wait!Heritage leader at Long Beach. One more day to Oxnard.
It is probably next to mine. Follow the red arrow. Thanks to my buddy you can also almost see yours too.I'm on that boat with you! I cannot wait!
Darn. Still status 193, since the end of May. Maybe it’s aboard Carmen/Elektra and just not updated in the system yet…
"At the port" - it'll be 193 while initially waiting for a ship, and then again after it is offloaded at the destination port.At least you have a code! What is 193, BTW?
Whoa! That is the first site I have found that will track ships that are outside the land based receivers!I've been able to track Hawaiian Highway on Shipfix without a paid account, seems to be near real-time. I just looked up Brooklands on there and see this:
