Lucky number three?Congratulations! Sounds like you have a solid ride for some time to come.
Is that last 7.8% the battery's buffer? This battery after a 9% to 100% charge is indicating a 92.2% SOH But all cells are level.
From what I’ve read on the forums for talking about the soul ev it would start higher about 110% with full buffer. So it is fine I don’t know but it is what it is and as long as the car doesn’t randomly die without the process it should follow I am mostly ok with that, I think...Is that last 7.8% the battery's buffer?
Sorry that happened , hope nobody was injured.A little over a month ago out time with the our Soul came to an end. As my wife likes to say “I crushed her Soul”.

I went through and carefully looked the car over and was able to find at least $2700 in parts that needed to be replaced so we are pretty sure it was totaled once you factored in labor so we started looking for replacements. We looked at the Ioniq and EV6 and decided we liked the Ioniq better. However the combination of “Market adjustments” and difficulty finding a Limited RWD was making the whole venture to difficult. We ended up finding a new ‘22 Niro EV on the lot with only slightly inflated price for the ceramic tint and no other adjustments. So on 5/7 we took delivery on it.

On 5/12 we did receive word that the insurance declared the Soul a total loss. Here are some photos after the shop tore it down.

And most importantly Forward Collision Avoidance Assist. Doh!Sorry that happened , hope nobody was injured.
Niro EV is a really nice car and you should enjoy the benefits that it brings including more range, active liquid cooling, lots more![]()
Forgot about that one, good point. And most importantly Forward Collision Avoidance Assist. Doh!
Yes everyone was luckily ok. It was fairly low speed just not low enough.
Sorry that was more a tongue in cheek callout of (my) choices have consequences lol. We traded our 2017 Niro EX hybrid (no plug) in on the Soul to go full electric, the '17 Niro had FCA whereas the Soul did not and FCA /might/ have bailed me out and prevented the accident.Forgot about that one, good point.![]()
It does! I does not have the cold weather package though (so no heat pump or heated steering wheel) I did briefly also try to track one down with the cold weather package but the market being what it is I quickly gave that up.hope your model has ventilated seats as well![]()
