It’s been discussed before here that the fluid released from the wipers is inadequate. But does anyone else find that the wipers leave streaks on the windshield regardless of how many times you repeat the wash cycle? I have tried cleaning them but to no avail. Any remedies?

RainX has improved the windshield conditions in the rain despite the lackluster wipers.
 
I applied RainX to the windshield and added to the washer fluid. It helped the cleaning and reduced the streaking. (They are 2 separate products).
A side benefit is that at speeds over 40, I don’t even have to use the wipers; the rain just beads up and flies off the windshield giving me better visibility than with the wipers. People are amazed the first time they see it.

If you add RainX to the reservoir, you have to calculate that it’s only 1.4 qts, and you have to do it a lot. It’s easier just to add it to the gal container.
