Battery Care usage never shows any use

We’ve had some really cold weather in Winterpeg dropping below -20C and I have yet to see anything above 0.00kW on the “Battery Care Electricity Use” page. I have enabled winter mode at the start of winter and would have assumed that power used for battery conditioning would show up here but nothing ever does. Has anyone observed usage in that category and under what conditions?

Hi Ralph. I'm in Winnipeg as well. The battery heater goes on under very specific variables of low SOC, electrical load and low battery pack temperature(not just ambient temperature). If you really interested in visualizing it under the "battery care use" menu. Drive your Kona's SOC down below 20% and park it overnight in -20C or colder temps and the go for a drive on the perimeter with the cold soaked battery pack and winter mode on. After a few minutes of driving you will see you battery heater do its thing.
