Technical Campaign 0084870100

What year is your car and what country are you in? My 2021 in the US doesn't list any recalls.

Please be sure to tell us the "more detailed information" your MINI authorized workshop reveals when you contact them. Thanks!

Actually, I was reaching to the forum, as the dealer was not able to provide any information about this was about.

The only thing that they mentioned, is that they needed the car for around hour, in order to update the car's software.

As from the update, the only things I noticed when driving the car are:

  • "Softer" exit of cruise control;
  • Regen is also acting more slowly, although the full amount of regen power looks to remain the same (maximum around 50 kW);
  • While driving, the instant power consumption seems lower, but the average has actually gone up;
  • "Start climatization" started from the App, looks to be less strong (also less noise from the compressor, when I get to the car);

Thanks!!!

There was an issue with the SOS call function which required a software update to address. The software for the fix was rolled out on the 14th December as there was a stop sale which affected a few people on here. It could be that?

Thanks a lot for all the replies!!!

By the way, is there any online resource that can be used for getting information about any recall affecting Mini vehicles?

For Canadian recalls, this site has all safety related recalls
