Parking assist lines on rear camera

It's not an easy setting to find... You can only get to it when the reverse camera is showing.

Put the car in reverse so the camera shows up, then click the iDrive knob to the left (to get to the left side menu). There should be an option in there for the parking assist lines as well as a couple other picture quality settings (like contrast/brightness)

This took me forever to figure out too. On BMWs the icons are always displayed when the backup camera is up.
