Simon Cowell drives an EV6 through Hollywood

I just posted a YouTube video of the KIA EV6 ad from tonight's America's Got Talent show. In the ad, Simon Cowell never mentions the vehicle he is driving.

Could this ad perhaps indicate that KIA will someday sell the EV6 in the US? Will KIA someday even reveal vehicle's the US price and EPA range? Are KIA dealers prepared to answer questions from AGT viewers who saw this ad?

That was a really weird segment. It's obvious that it's an ad for the EV6, but to not mention it explicitly was very strange to see.

It's already for sure that the EV6 will be sold in the US, since they already have sold out on reservations for the First Edition and both the main KIA USA website as well as dealer sites have pages about the EV6. The pricing and such is still up in the air, though.

Here are a couple of EV6 video ads that, like Simon Cowell's drive, say nothing about the car.

KIA / Hyundai are two pea's in a pod when it comes to BEV's. They only will take your information if you're interested with no sign of preorders being closed for months or that a few token units are coming. Neither have a sign of a MSRP of each BEV they are obviously already building if they'll deliver'em when they say they will. KIA claims a month of January and Hyundai claims a season or two of this Fall and Winter. If you don't want to be waiting for a used one I suggest you pick a zip in a state they are currently selling and that way you only have a year or two to wait to pay 4K over the MSRP they are calculating higher with each passing day, unless Tesla's gets another go at rebates that could abate the outrageous behavior of these dealers.
