Just purchased a 530e

I’m shocked there isn’t much discussion here. I own a Honda Clarity Plug in Hybrid and there is a lot of activity here

I am using this vehicle for Lyft. Cleveland OH area.

any tips for this car ?

Im confused why electric range goes down while in Hybrid mode. I thought that would be gas only?

any way to save your electric miles?

So, how's the maintenance cost since you are using your 530e as a Lyft car?
 
Well if the 530e works like my i8. In town in comfort not sport my i8 uses the electric to get up to speed then switches to gas. I can set on the dash in the i drive settings a mimimum state i want the battery to reserve. So if i want to keep say 50% i can set the level it keeps the battery charged at. Also in sport mode it charges the battery to 70% for use in accel and sporty driving.
 
I'm not sure of the 2021 variant. My neighbor owns a 2018 Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. He often says that during high revs there is a heavy loss of power also there were times when the automatic braking malfunctioned.
